“Shorts” is made by kids for kids.

Director Robert Rodriguez once again puts his own children’s imagination in front of the lens and comes away with a neighborhood adventure about a wishing rock and a group of kids who ban together to stop the adults from ruining the community.

The new film is aimed at very young children and is reminiscent of those “Little Rascal” one and two reelers from the 30’s and 40’s.

Although it will be painful for you if you’re an adult and accompany your kids to the movies… remember the film isn’t for you, it’s for your kid.

As a kid’s movie “Shorts” gets a C+ and is rated PG.
